Universal Orlando Studios partnered with Sector 5 Digital to help promote the launch of “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” through an international marketing campaign during the construction of the experience at the park. In order to create media assets, Universal was originally planning on building a physical model of the world, which would be costly and time consuming.
These multi award-winning productions and imagery featured new techniques and technology that had never been seen before. Universal Orlando was able to presell millions of dollars in direct ticket sales. As it was all produced in-house, we saved Universal millions of dollars versus working with multiple agencies.
Sector 5 Digital turned Universal's vision into reality by building a photo-realistic, online virtual reality experience. By using these digital assets, the client was able to make real-time changes to the world, which significantly reduced costs. This scalable experience was used to create their famous Super Bowl commercial, various animations and stills used for social media, as well as banners and magazine advertising.
