The main objective was to improve the effectiveness of poster presentations for medical and science students at conferences. Traditional presentations often struggled to engage audiences and effectively convey complex information. The goal was to transform static posters into dynamic, multimedia experiences that would enhance educational value and foster better interaction and collaboration between presenters and viewers.
The use of AR-enhanced posters led to significant improvements in audience engagement and knowledge retention. Presenters reported increased interest from attendees, with many expressing enthusiasm about the interactive components. Feedback indicated that the AR experiences helped clarify complex concepts, making them more accessible to viewers. This innovative approach successfully elevated the standard of poster presentations at conferences, providing a more enriching educational experience that set a new benchmark in academic communication.
Utilizing the Post Reality studio, we developed augmented reality (AR) experiences that transformed scientific posters. By integrating multimedia elements—such as images, audio, videos, and 3D models—into the posters, we allowed presenters to create engaging narratives that simplified complex information. The AR technology enabled viewers to interact with the content in real time, resulting in a more immersive and impactful learning experience.
