Partnering with S5D, Rhode Island Tourism crafted an exciting campaign to attract airport-goers to visit Rhode Island.
Within 6 months, users in 55 countries repeated the experience 3 times on average. Rhode Island Tourism increased their brand visibility significantly, and highlighted the wonders of the state to all of its users. Due to the success, the experience is still in use today.
Users scanned a QR code, picked a location, snapped a selfie, and received a photo of themselves inside a postcard of the famous Rhode Island landmark. By completing the experience, they had the chance to win a free trip to Rhode Island. Only available in specific locations, the campaign effectively reached its target audience, and significantly increased engagement when compared to traditional means.
